in the past two days i started working on my writing skill because i felt that i need more work on it,and i can't exceed high school level . it's not like i don't have any strength in it ,on the contrary in my writing i can use high level of vocabulary effectively ,and organize the essay into "introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion",on the other hand i needed to improve my self on when i should use punctuation marks ,and how to use connections effectively .also i need extra help on my brainstorming as it is very slow and not satisfying me.
So,at the beginning i searched on the Internet about punctuation marks i learned how the symbol looked like and when i have to use them , www.rogerdarlington.co.uk/punctuation.html
then i started writing small essays with punctuation included in it. once every day for 40 minutes . also i looked for the connections on the Internet again and i found www.umanitoba.ca/student/u1/images/connections. as i can't use this word effectively in my writing so i found a list of connections and downloaded it .then i started writing 2 or more sentences and connect between them .i did that twice and it took me only 20 minutes.
And i also needed more practise on my brain storming ,when i looked it up on the Internet i found this site http://www.brainstorming.co.uk/. it taught me how to do brainstorm and collect my ideas faster , also i decided to do an extended reading on several type of topics. to increase my knowledge and my amount of idea for faster brainstorm.
finally i hope by doing this to achieve my aim to develop my learning skills.and to reach a satisfying level which qualifies me to teach in English .

Good first entry. I would like to see more explanations, however, especially about how you practiced, and how you evaluated (or assessed) your practice.
ReplyDeleteIn addition, more depth and connection between these strategies would be helpful.
Finally, I have to say that your capitalization and punctuation are a real problem. As you can see from my example here, all instances of the word "I" should be capitalized, no matter where they fall in the sentence. There are other capitalization errors as well in your entry. Also, punctuation has particular spacing that is required, usually before the next word or sentence. Please review this, and make sure you apply it in your next entry, especially as punctuation is one area that you have identified and worked on improving.
